GotEL needs a graphics mage!

Because of the many positive feedbacks I'm planning to expand this game. There are a swarm of musicians who want to help me with this but I have no graphician. So if you have ideas for adding some ecstatic visual orgasm to this game and have enought freetime to fully work out that, then e-mail me some sketches, mockups and stuff. You can send as many as you want! Here you find a post with some details. Developement starts in October and ends when the game is finished...

What was your favorite part about the game?

This is a pretty cool game, especially for being made under Ludum Dare rules. And who doesn't love blowing up some mountains?

What was your least favorite part about the game?

I looked at the help screen beforehand, but it is a lot of info. It would be good if some of that were somehow shown during the game.

I love the idea here- modifying an evolving land to build resources and obtain goals. That's really well thought out, and it did draw me in for quite some time just clicking around and exploring.

But the downside of using an involved game mechanic is that it's harder for players to jump into and start playing. I had some trouble understanding exactly what I was supposed to be doing. I know you had the help screen and I did read that, but a tutorial level or on-screen hints would have explained things a lot better. Maybe in a post-compo version?

All in all, this is awesome especially for 48 hours! I love the idea of the evolving land, and I'd be curious to see what you do with it after the competition.
